Day 2 Masai Mara Full-Day Safari
On this day you will wake up as early as 6:30 am, and after breakfast spend the whole day on game drives. You’ll head out with your picnic lunch. The Masai Mara is famous for its lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffalo that make the Big Five. However, luck is essential to spot leopard and rhino, as they’re rather shy and elusive. The park’s animal concentration and abundance are second to none. After exploring the park you will proceed on the Mara River where the great migration of the wildebeest takes place every year. Lunch will be served here and our guests are advised not to feed the monkeys which will try to snatch some of your fruits. But this is common here. You will be able to see the Hippo Pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra and Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. After lunch, you’ll explore the park more as you drive back to camp.
Day 3 Masai Mara Back to Nairobi
You’ll have an early morning safari in Masai Mara Park, up to around 9:30 am. You’ll drive back to camp for a full breakfast and official check-out. You can visit the Maasai village (optional 10$ each) and then drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Arrive early in the evening and drop off at your hotel.
