Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya near the border with Tanzania, is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large elephant herds. Covering approximately 392 square kilometres, the park is characterized by swamps, open plains, and lush vegetation, supported by underground rivers flowing from the mountain. Established as a national park in 1974, Amboseli is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a vital conservation area for diverse wildlife.

Best Time To Visit
The Best Time to visit Amboseli National Park is during the dry season from June to October. During these months, animals tend to gather around the park’s water sources, making sightings frequent and easier. The weather is also ideal for game viewing, with warm, dry conditions and clear skies offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The park is also accessible from December to March, though it can be a bit hotter during these months. The rainy season, from April to May, should be avoided due to muddy conditions, which can make certain areas difficult to navigate.
