Tour Overview

Budget tour adventure to Kenya’s most popular game reserve – Maasai Mara National Reserve or the Mara as its popularly known.

Go deep into the African plains and set out on daily game drives across the park. All the Big Five (the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & buffalo, ) are here with many mammals and birds.

Watch for the animals that emerge at dusk, see hippos and crocodiles along the banks of the Mara River. The game reserve is home to high population of the big cats & the famous wildebeest migration.

Safari departs daily from Nairobi city & accommodation in Masai Mara budget tented camps.

Itineraries

Day 1. Nairobi – Masai Mara

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kikuyu farmlands to the edge of the Great Rift Valley. Stop briefly to view the Great Rift Valley at the view point. Lunch at Narok where you have a walk around the Maasai Town. Arrive Mara late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.

Day 2. Masai Mara ( Long Day)

After breakfast proceed for a full day of game viewing at the Maasai Mara Reserve. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3.Masai Mara ( Long Day)

Another long day is spent in the Mara reserve. This day you have an option of going to visit the masai village to learn more about their culture. All meals and overnight at campsite.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Pre-morning game drive, after breakfast depart to Nairobi with game drive enroute and picnic lunch arriving at around 5pm.
