Itineraries

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive via Namanga on the Tanzania border to reach Amboseli early in the afternoon. We view game as we proceed towards the campsite for dinner and overnight. Amboseli is the second popular park in Kenya after Masai Mara with huge heards of elephants with a spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.

Day 2: Amboseli Long Day

Early breakfast at camp/lodge then proceed for a long day drive in exploring this park. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Get a chance to see the elephant, buffalo, lion, Wildebeest, hyena, jackal, warthogs, zebra and the masai giraffe are likely to be seen.

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya – Tanzania border, the park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa whose snow- capped summit presents a splendid view on a clear day. Amboseli National park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest elephant herds are found here. The game park also consists of vast group of zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, hippos and antelopes. Also to be found here are lions, leopard, cheeteh and many species of plain game.

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West National park

After an early breakfast depart for Tsavo West National park which lies roughly half way between Nairobi and the Coast. Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is the favorite haunt fo hippos and crocodiles. Picnic lunch then proceed for an evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and a wide variety of antelope. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National park

After early breakfast we check out of the camp and proceed to Tsavo East National park. Game is viewed as we exist the park. This park is famous for it’s large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls. Mudanda Rocks ( attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam as we view game if time allows. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge

 

Day 5: Tsavo East National park Long Day

A long day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered, the landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocodile and hippos. Likewise kudus, waterbucks and dik dik are common along the river banks. Later return to the camp/lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Tsavo East National park To Mombasa

Early morning game drive, Soon after breakfast we proceed ro Mombasa arriving at 1400hrs. Drop off at a beach hotel to start a beach holiday.
